Oscilloscopes for Congo

4 Boxes full of Physics and Electronics equipment will go to a university in Beni, Congo, and our team has finished packing all safely in boxes. The local professors and staff are aiming to use these to establish courses for students on sustainable energy, an urgent matter, not only in Congo. Next step: Logistics!

EquipSent @ CGIU 2018

As last year, we were invited to the Clinton Global Initiative conference, an event for roughly 1000 social entrepreneurs from all parts of the world, driving topics such as equality, public health, poverty alleviation, etc. We were part of the “Educational Access” section. It was another fantastic experience to network and exchange ideas with people from most diverse backgrounds. We could also establish very useful contacts to entrepreneurs and experts in developing countries, through which we can establish successful equipment transfers to trusted recipients.

Team Photo Session

An excited team needs exciting photos – pick your favorite! In our hands you can see examples of valuable chemistry glass ware and oscilloscopes, which we recently acquired. They will find sustainable use in new destinations – Stay tuned!

What makes a Donation Sustainable and Ethical?

We had a super exciting and productive brain-storming and thought-organizing workshop tonight to define what we at EquipSent believe is a long-term sustainable and fair way to set up equipment donations. These considerations will eventually become our major guidelines to future donation decisions. Big shout-out and huge thanks to Marie for this great workshop!
